“My name is Aiyana. I'm a seventh grader at Hilltop Heritage. I've been in the Bobcat Scholars Program since I was in sixth grade. I joined the program because it was a place away from home where I could take a break, have fun and learn new things. When I am in the program, I feel like it's a positive space with adults around that want to help me reach my goals. The staff are good listeners and make me feel appreciated and heard. I am proud that being in that program has enabled me to gain the confidence to use my voice to speak up for others and help them as much as I can.”
