We are thankful and excited to be able to share with you Peace Community Center’s new strategic plan, which includes an updated mission, vision, and values, as well as our plan for relaunching the work of the Center in and with the Hilltop community.

Our new mission is: Peace Community Center, a faith-rooted, community-led organization, works alongside Hilltop youth and families to build pathways to stability, opportunity and housing security. This mission grounds our work in the Hilltop community, with young people and families, and in partnership with Peace Lutheran Church and many others who care deeply for our neighborhood.

Fundamentally, our new mission reconnects the Center to why it was created in the first place: to be a place that extends peace, in the fullest sense of the word, in the Hilltop community. As our context has changed, the need for the Center has changed, and while this did not happen in a way we would have planned, we are thankful for the journey and where it has led us.
